Safety training is most effective when employees experience realistic workplace scenarios before facing them on the job. Traditional classroom sessions often provide theoretical knowledge but lack practical exposure.
To address this challenge, we designed a three-day blended learning programme combining Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual Reality (VR), and scenario-based eLearning for more than 18,000 manufacturing employees.
Workers practiced identifying hazards, responding to emergencies, and following safety procedures through immersive VR simulations. Bite-sized JAM (Just-A-Minute) learning reminders reinforced key concepts during daily work.
The programme resulted in a 64% reduction in workplace incidents within the first year, improved compliance, and increased employee confidence in handling real-life situations.
